This was exactly the case on Sunday night as Reese put on her coaching cap to try and assist her team from the sidelines. At one point in the game, the 22-year-old was having a rather animated conversation with Chicago head coach Teresa Weatherspoon — a moment that immediately went viral on social media.
Unfortunately for Chicago, this just wasn’t the case on Sunday. They suffered their third straight loss after falling to the Mercury, 93-88. The Sky now have a record of 13-25 and are in a three-way tie with the Washington Mystics and the Atlanta Dream for the eighth and final playoff spot.
