Despite the health scare, Elliott addressed fans through a video message, assuring them of his well-being and confirming the band’s scheduled performance that evening at Parque Simón Bolívar.
He described his condition as “moderate-to-severe altitude sickness,” stating, “I would hate to know what severe altitude sickness is. I wouldn’t want to wish it on my worst enemy” .
The Bogotá concert proceeded as planned, with Elliott delivering a spirited performance, albeit with a slightly reduced setlist.
During the show, he expressed gratitude towards the hospital staff, saying, “Thanks to them, I’m here” .
