Indiana Fever Send Strong Seven-Word Message to Caitlin Clark After Loss to Aces and asked her to leave sad News…..
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever may have suffered another loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Friday, falling to the defending champions 78-74, but the rookie was still on the positive end of some incredible WNBA news. During the first half of the game, Clark passed the WNBA record for the most assists in a single season.
It was previously held by Connecticut Sun star Alyssa Thomas with 316 total assists in 2023.
As Clark went on the journey of becoming “the most prolific passer in the WNBA,” she also broke a couple of league records. The rookie holds the WNBA record for the most assists in a single game, which she notched against the Dallas Wings on Jul. 17. She recorded 19 assists in the matchup and was even able to add 24 points to the stat sheet. Clark also holds the highest count for total assists by a rookie in WNBA All-Star game history. While leading Team WNBA to a 117-109 victory over Team USA, Clark produced four points and 10 assists.
